The Minutes of Parish council meetings are the way official records of these meetings. They provide a record of the topics discussed at each meeting & any decisions made.

These notes should summarise key discussions, decisions action items & attendees. They serve as a reference, to ensure accountability & can be a legal record for compliance.

Effective note taking usually follows sets formats or templates. These only focus on decisions and actions avoiding   verbatim conversations to maintain objectivity.
