Channels of Communication

Dear Residents of Iron Acton and interested members of the Iron Acton Community Group on Facebook.

Your parish council (IAPC) wanted to address communications issues relating to social media posts & the perceived lack of response. It’s important to understand what happens when posts are directed towards us on social media channels such as Iron Acton Community Group on Facebook page.

If you do not see a response please understand that we are not ignoring you. Sometimes as individuals we would like to answer your questions however we have rules we must follow.

As we do not have an IAPC Facebook presence we would need to reply from our personal accounts, which we are advised against. We have rules on communicating on behalf of IAPC, and we are unable to comment on Facebook posts personally as our response must be our collective response.

You are always welcome to direct any of your questions, concerns or comments directly to us via our Clerk, and you can do so in a number of ways such as

via our website https://www.ironacton-pc.gov.uk/contact-information/

by e-mail clerk@ironacton-pc.gov.uk

or even by phone 07955115308

Attend A Meeting

Alternatively, you would be most welcome to come to the monthly meeting, before the meeting starts we have 20 minutes for ‘ Public Question Time ’ where you can speak to all members of the IAPC.

For the latest IAPC news, we update the ‘ News ’ section of our website regularly

https://www.ironacton-pc.gov.uk/welcome-to-the-website/previous-posts/

We have agreed to have an agenda item each month where we agree on any posts that we will load on our website and put a link onto the Iron Acton Community Group on Facebook page.

Communications Updates

Over the next few days we will have some further posts covering topics that have been raised over the past month.

We look forward to hearing from you soon or seeing you at the next monthly meeting.
