      Building a Stronger Community

There are lots of opportunities to get involved with groups in the Parish that can help reduce social isolation &; bring positive experiences for parishioners. Currently there are several volunteering opportunities that have become available.

From being a Sports Ambassador to stewarding at a community event, joining Litter Pickers or Friends of Chill Wood there are lots of ways to become involved.

In addition there are many groups from the Arts that involve singing, dancing &; acting to making craft items. Maybe join the film club for a social evening in addition to a watching a film with family &; friends.

The MUGA is a facility that currently offers opportunities to play a range of sports &; there are several community groups that you can join. Pickleball &; tennis have dedicated pages on this website to enable you to contact those who co-ordinate the groups.

Making that first step can be daunting but the groups are very welcoming to new members.
