Iron Acton Parish Council have been working with Dan Norris the West of England Metro Mayor in gaining a commuter service to support Parishioners.  Today we have received notification that this service will begin on October 9th.

IAPC originally raised the matter of a Commuter bus service back in March 2022, before the announced cut of the Y3 service which comes into effect also on October 9th. They have been in regular communications and finally today secure this service.

Further details of the 626 timetable will come soon. Please note this is a limited service taking passengers towards Bristol for around 8 am and then an evening service around 6 pm.

Separate to this service IAPC are working on other alternative services due to the loss of the Y3. Nothing further can be announced on this though at this time.
