Damage At The MUGA
Broken Keysafe
It has been brought to the attention of the Parish Council that the key safe padlock used to secure the Netstore at The MUGA was broken. This has meant that the expensive community equipment stored there was at risk of being stolen.
The council would like to thank the person who reported the issue as it meant that swift action could be taken to replace the damaged lock & re secure the storage unit. An inspection of the green cupboard has been carried out it would seem that no equipment has been taken.
The council would like to remind everyone that the MUGA is there for the benefit of the whole community. Anyone who uses it should treat the equipment respectfully & ensure that it is returned to the locked store afterwards. In this way the equipment is then available for others to use.
Please be advised that the replacement key safe is made by a different manufacturer & whilst the operation is similar there is a small difference in how the key safe operates.

It’s advisable for anyone planning to play at The MUGA to know how to use the equipment which includes the use of the key safe. Its the responsibility of the person booking the court to ensure any equipment is returned & securely locked away at the end of each session.
