Iron Acton Parish Community Speedwatch Group

The first steps have been taken to form the Iron Acton Speedwatch Group for monitoring speeding traffic at various points in the parish. This is as a direct response to growing concerns about the increase in traffic travelling at speed in the area. More volunteers are needed  to make it fully operational.

To become part of this group simply follow the steps below :

Click on the[Register] tab followed by [Join Existing Group]

Choose [Avon & Somerset] then [Continue] from the pull down menu

Then choose [iron Acton]

This will bring you to a page to fill in your details. You should then be sent an email to complete the registration process. Additional help can be found by clicking [Help] then [Documents] where you can download a guide to registration.

After registration is complete you will need to complete an online training session which takes approximately 30 minutes.

Once the group has reached the required number of members plans can then be made to begin the traffic monitoring.
