Need Alternative Routes

National Highways are closing the M4 between junctions 18 and 19, from 7pm on Friday 21 March to 6am on Monday 24 March. The closure is to demolish the A432 Badminton Road bridge to start preparations for the new bridge. Please do avoid the area if you can, as we are expecting a high volume of traffic. A fully signposted diversion route will be in place via the A46, A420, A4174 and the M32. In addition, National Highways will need to close the A432 Badminton Road bridge to pedestrians and cyclists from Friday 7 March. An alternative route is available via Down Road, Bury Hill and Church Lane.
