Completing a consultation & securing of grants the Parish Council have been able to move forward with the MUGA project. Currently awaiting the outcome of a planning the plans for the refurbishment of the sports facilities can progress.

The new MUGA (multi use games area) in addition to tennis will offer basketball, netball & football. It will have a new surface & fencing to meet modern sports safety recommendations. It will enable more parishioners tp participate in a wider range of sports & its hoped will continue to be a valuable resource.

The facilities will remain open & free to use. An improved booking system will be introduced to enable people to book the courts they want to use. Two courts will enable a greater number of people to play.

It is hoped that these new facilities will provide many opportunities for parishioners to enjoy the benefits of engaging in outdoor sporting activities for many years to come.
