Urban, Rural and Key Issues Document
for public consultation until 21 March 2022 covers the following aspects :
- Development within our urban areas and market towns
How to make the best use of land, including potential sites for development and employment sites to protect
- A planning framework to deliver new homes and jobs for our rural communities
- Areas for renewable energy such as wind and solar
- Setting a Strategic Green Infrastructure (GI) Network
To include the following draft planning policies :
- Strategic Green Infrastructure and the Environment
- Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs)
- Biodiversity Net Gain, Urban Lifestyles
- Density and Rural Exception Sites
- Community Led Rural Sites.
Accessing the new Local Plan Phase 2
The Local Plan Phase 2 consultation document, online questionnaire, details of the engagement events and supporting material are available to view on the Council’s website at www.southglos.gov.uk/newlocalplan
The consultation material can also be accessed on computers in South Gloucestershire Libraries
(please refer to www.southglos.gov.uk/libraries for locations and opening times)

Face to Face Events
