Provision of Toilet
Trial Run
After receiving many requests for the provision of toilet facilities in the Parish Meadows. The Parish Council have arranged for a temporary accessible toilet unit to be installed. This will be a single unit accessible unit similar to the one shown in the photograph below.
Following consultation with various departments at South Gloucestershire Council the location of the toilet was determined. No objections were recorded when the home owners of properties adjacent to the Meadows were consulted about the idea.
The installation was delayed due to unforeseen circumstances however these challenges have now been overcome. So delivery of the unit can take soon.
The contractor providing the toilet will visit regularly to ensure the unit is emptied & supplies replenished.
A short survey consisting of some simple questions will be launched soon after the toilet is installed. It will appear on the website & local residents can fill in the form & submit their views. The Parish Council can then use the data to evaluate the viability of continuing to provide facilities.
