New App Launched

The new South Gloucestershire Council app is now available to download & start using. You will now  be able to access a wide range of council services from your smartphone or tablet.

You can easily check the following :

• Waste and recycling collection dates
•  Sign up for push notifications to get weekly reminders of what bins & boxes to put out and when
• Use a tool to check to see if an item can be recycled & which container to put it in
• Book a slot to take things to the Sort It recycling centre
• Check planning applications, review the plans and submit responses.
• Use a map to locate services such as parks, libraries or other facilities
•  Report things like potholes and flooded roads
• Apply for support including community meals and Telecare devices
• Set up or use existing customer account to manage their council tax online
• Search and contact your local councillor and read the latest council news.
• The council will be adding new features over the coming months such as providing another way for residents to easily have their say on consultations

The free South Gloucestershire Council app is available to download from the Apple App Store, or Google Play Store for Android phone users.
