Work has been recently undertaken to remove the old dead & diseased trees from the woods as part of the planned maintenance programme for Chill Wood.

It is difficult & sometimes dangerous work but necessary to ensure the health of the woods for those who regularly enjoy walking through them. Heavy machinery & chainsaws were employed to clear the section before the trailer was loaded and the old wood taken away.
